Good evening from very wet Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Our high today was 86 F. It was hot and muggy, but not as bad as they predicted. We were under a heat advisory with a heat index of 102 F. It didn’t get that high. They said our high would be in the 90s. We came close, but I’m happy and thankful to say, it didn’t reach 90 F today. We did get rain. Lots of it. There were tornado warnings out for areas to the north of Green Bay. Thankfully, we only got rain.

As many of you know, life can change in the blink of an eye. That’s what happened today with my neighbor. She tripped and fell over one of her dog’s toys and broke her foot. She’s thankful it’s not worse. She’s only in a boot. I went with her to the Urgent Care.

I’m thankful for the walk I got on the trail this morning. I walked two sections of the trail, and got all my steps. Right now I have over 11,000 steps.

I’m thankful I got my laundry done first thing this morning. It’s now folded and put away.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm. I’m still fixing what I need to and making it stronger.

I’m thankful that the power outage during the storm we had for a couple of seconds did not cause trouble with my computer.

Okay, that’s my day. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Sounds like a good and productive day, Valerie. Have been meaning to ask, what do you use to count your steps? I have been thinking about getting a step counter but have no idea what to buy.

I use Google Fit and a pedometer app on my phone. Free.

So you actually have to have your phone on you for it to count your steps, right?

Yes. It’s in my pocket at all times.
