Good evening from partly sunny Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s 84 F on my computer. It’s warm and muggy out there.

Today was a busy day. My phone told me we would have rain all day. It didn’t, not a drop.

I’m thankful for getting up when I did this morning. I went to bed later than I expected and needed to leave before 7:30 this morning for a hospital appointment.

I’m thankful the hospital appointment went as well as expected. I always hope for a one and done poke. It happened last time, but it’s me we’re talking about. My tiny veins. My crooked veins. They need to use the tiniest needle on me when doing an IV or it will most of the time blow the vein. The nurse used the smallest needle this morning and still blew the vein. The SWAT nurse got it. So two pokes and two bruises. I’m thankful it’s over with for another six weeks.

I’m thankful for a wonderful breakfast at a restaurant after the hospital this morning. I had a Gyro omelet. MMMM delicious!

I’m thankful for the walk on the trail when I got home. It was warm and muggy, but the hospital and restaurant were cold with the A/C at full arctic blast. The warmth felt good.

I’m thankful for Canasta today. We played two games. Each team won a game, so that made it nice. We always have a good time and lots of laughs. The snacks are good too.

I’m thankful I could get here to read your posts today. Better late than never. I totally enjoyed the posts I read. Thank you.

Okay, that’s my day. It’s been a long good day, packed to the brim. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
