Day 191 – Praise

Psalm 92:1 (A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath day.) It is good to give thanks to JEHOVAH, and to sing praises to Your name, O Elyown; 2 to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night, 3 on an instrument of ten strings, on the lute, and on the harp, with harmonious sound. 4 For You, JEHOVAH, made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. 5 O JEHOVAH, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are deep. 6 A senseless man does not know, nor does a fool understand this.

7 When the wicked spring up like grass, and when the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they may be destroyed forever. 8 However, You, JEHOVAH, are on high forevermore. 9 For behold, Your enemies, O JEHOVAH, for behold, Your enemies will perish; the workers of iniquity will be scattered. 10 However, You exalted my horn like a wild ox; You anointed me with fresh oil. 11 My eye also saw my desire on my enemies; my ears hear my desire on the wicked who rise against me. 12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree; he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 Those who are planted in the house of JEHOVAH will flourish in the courts of our Elohiym. 14 They will bear fruit in old age; they will be fresh and flourishing, 15 to declare that JEHOVAH is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

What makes you glad? What causes you to sing?

The psalmist praised JEHOVAH with instruments of praise. He sang about JEHOVAH’S lovingkindness and faithfulness. The psalmist saw how Elohiym brought justice to the wicked, and how the righteous flourished before Him.

As Christians, do you wake with songs of praise? Do you rejoice when you see Elohiym bring justice on wicked people? Does Yeshuwa live in your heart and life? Are you among the righteous who flourish in JEHOVAH’S courts? Do you play an instrument? Do you glorify Yeshuwa on your instrument and sing of His wonderful works?

Praise breaks down Satan’s strongholds, it destroys everything he brings against you. Wherever you worship Yeshuwa, you enter His courts. Wherever you gather with other believers, you gather in Yeshuwa’s courts. Songs of praise and thanksgiving should issue forth from your mouth for everything He did for you and continues to do.

What has Yeshuwa done for you? Praise Him. Did He destroy Satan’s work in your life? Praise Him. Did you see justice on the wicked? Praise Him. Are you praying for Yeshuwa’s help and healing? Praise Him. What do you need? Praise Him. Yeshuwa inhabits the praises of His people. He marches forth to war against your enemies when you praise Him. Satan must flee when you praise Yeshuwa, whether you’re praising him with instruments or with your voice, your praise will break down every stronghold Satan erected in your life.

The psalmist praised Elohiym for coming against his enemies. He saw how JEHOVAH worked against the wicked. When you praise Yeshuwa, you will see His hand destroy Satan’s work and bring justice against the wicked. Let your praise come before Him and glorify Him who reigns forever.

Let’s pray: Father, let me never forget to praise You for everything you do in my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
