Day 193 – Justice

Psalm 94:1 O JEHOVAH El, to whom vengeance belongs—O El, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth! 2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth, render punishment to the proud. 3 JEHOVAH, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph? 4 They utter speech and speak insolent things; the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. 5 They break in pieces Your people, O JEHOVAH, and afflict Your heritage. 6 They slay the widow and the stranger and murder the fatherless. 7 Yet they say, “YAHH does not see, nor does the Elohiym of Jacob understand.” 8 Understand, you senseless among the people; and you fools, when will you be wise? 9 He who planted the ear, will He not hear? He who formed the eye, will He not see? 10 He who instructs the nations, will He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge? 11 JEHOVAH knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.

12 Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O YAHH, and teach out of Your law, 13 that You may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked. 14 For JEHOVAH will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance. 15 However, judgment will return to righteousness, and the upright in heart will follow it. 16 Who will rise for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? 17 Unless JEHOVAH had been my help, my soul would soon have settled in silence. 18 If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O JEHOVAH, will hold me up. 19 In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul. 20 Will the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You? 21 They gather against the life of the righteous and condemn innocent blood. 22 However, JEHOVAH has been my defense, and my Elohiym the rock of my refuge. 23 He brought on them their iniquity and will cut them off in their wickedness; JEHOVAH our Elohiym will cut them off.

Do you see wickedness ruling your life and don’t know where to turn. Do you hope for judgment against the wicked? Are you looking for help, but cannot find anyone to come to your aid?

The psalmist saw wickedness everywhere he looked and turned to the only one who could bring judgment on the wicked, JEHOVAH Elohiym. He asked JEHOVAH to avenge him and told the wicked that the one who planted the ear hears them; He sees them. He instructs them and teaches man knowledge. Yet they are foolish without understanding.

The psalmist knew the blessings JEHOVAH gives the righteous who follow His law and let the people know JEHOVAH will not forsake His inheritance. He knew JEHOVAH was his help and His mercy held him up. No matter how anxious he became, he knew JEHOVAH comforted him. He also knew JEHOVAH would bring justice to workers of iniquity.

One thing you see throughout the world is how wickedness reigns in the hearts and lives of people in power. As children of Yeshuwa, your rights stripped away little by little. New laws come forth from the seat of government that restrict your life as a Christian. One thing they haven’t taken away yet in America is the right to worship Yeshuwa and pray. In many places throughout the world, Christian’s face judgment for being a Christian. Their lives are forfeit to those who deny Yeshuwa.

However, Yeshuwa promises judgment on the wicked and the ruler of wickedness, Satan. On that day, every knee will bow, and every tongue proclaims that Yeshuwa is Kurios.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christos Iesous, 6 who, being in the form of Theos, did not consider it robbery to be equal with Theos, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. 9 Therefore, Theos also highly exalted Him and gave Him the name, which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Iesous every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and every tongue should confess that Iesous Christos is Kurios, to the glory of Theos the Pater.

Revelation 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. (NKJV)

You have nothing to fear when you place your hope and trust in Yeshuwa. He will avenge you and bring justice to everyone who denies Him.

Let’s pray: Father, Your name is holy. I give You praise for Your mercy and comfort when Satan comes against me, knowing You will judge him and bring salvation to Your people, Your inheritance. I thank You that You have not abandoned me in my hour of need but comfort me and give me Your peace. Bless my life because I trust You to take care of me in every situation Satan brings against me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
