Day 194 – Celebration
Psalm 95:1 Oh come, let us sing to JEHOVAH! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. 3 For JEHOVAH is the great El, and the great Melek above every elohiym. 4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also. 5 The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land. 6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before JEHOVAH our Maker.
7 For He is our Elohiym, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you hear His voice: 8 “Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, as in the day of trial in the wilderness, 9 when your fathers tested Me; they tried Me, though they saw My work. 10 For forty years I was grieved with that generation, and said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts, and they do not know My ways.’ 11 Therefore, I swore in My wrath, ‘They will not enter My rest.’”

God’s character:
Rock of Salvation
Maker
Do you need something to cause you to rejoice, to celebrate? Many people live their entire life in woeful depression and cannot find joy in anything. While others find joy in everything and celebrate the tiniest things. Those people find life easy to celebrate.
The psalmist gave the people a reason to celebrate. JEHOVAH was the Rock of their Salvation, their Melek above every elohiym. He was their El, their Maker. He urged them not to harden their hearts as their fathers did in the rebellion in the wilderness, but to rejoice because they were the sheep in JEHOVAH’S pasture, and He cared for them.
Do you know Yeshuwa, the Son of the living JEHOVAH? He is your Rock of Salvation. His sacrifice on the cross gives you cause to celebrate. His resurrection from the grave should have you shouting for joy every day.
If you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Kurios, you know how much He loves you. He has your name tattooed on His hand, and your life written in His book.
Isaiah 49:16 See, I inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. In Your book they were written, the days fashioned for me, when yet there were none of them.
You have cause to celebrate every day because He takes care of you, provides everything you need, and clothes you in His righteousness. What are you waiting for? Give Yeshuwa a shout of praise and rejoice in your salvation.
Let’s pray: Father, You give me a reason to celebrate every day. Help me see Your blessings and rejoice in my salvation. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
