Day 195 – Praise

Psalm 96:1 Oh, sing to JEHOVAH a new song! Sing to JEHOVAH, throughout the earth. 2 Sing to JEHOVAH, bless His name; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. 3 Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all people. 4 For JEHOVAH is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above every elohiym. 5 For the elohiym of the people are idols, but JEHOVAH made the heavens. 6 Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. 7 Give to JEHOVAH, O families of the people, give to JEHOVAH glory and strength. 8 Give JEHOVAH the glory due to His name; bring an offering and come into His courts. 9 Oh, worship JEHOVAH in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, throughout the earth.

 10 Say among the nations, “JEHOVAH reigns; the world also is firmly established, it will not be moved; He will judge the people righteously.” 11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and its fullness; 12 let the field be joyful, and everything in it. Then the trees of the woods will rejoice 13 before JEHOVAH. For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His truth.

Yeshuwa – Jesus

Adonay – God’s proper name

Elohiym – Supreme God

God’s character:

Salvation

Glory

Creator

Honor

Majesty

Strength

Beauty

Sovereign

Judge

Righteous

Truth

How often do you wake up in the morning with songs running through your head, putting you in a good mood ready to face whatever happens during the day?

The psalmist rejoiced and wanted the entire world to know JEHOVAH was the only one who would save them. He wanted everyone to praise Him because He alone created everything and deserved praise, honor, glory, strength, and majesty. Everything about JEHOVAH proclaims His beauty, sovereignty, and righteousness. One day the nations who serve false elohiym would know the truth, that He alone is JEHOVAH and there is no other.

When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Adonay, you committed your life to worship Him and bring Him glory. Do you wake up with worship songs in your head, knowing Yeshuwa was with you through the night hours? Do you face the day with praise on your lips and a song in your heart? Do you want everyone to know Yeshuwa? What are you doing to let people know about Yeshuwa and the Elohiym you serve? Do your neighbors know you’re a Christian?

Tell everyone you know about Yeshuwa and what He did for them. Worship Him in everything you do. Let praise be your battle cry to defeat Satan when he comes against you. Then you will see Yeshuwa defeat Satan’s schemes in your life, giving you more reasons to praise Him.

Let’s pray: Father, I glorify You because You alone are KING of Kings and LORD of Lords. Your Son defeated Satan on the cross with His blood. Let my praise come before Your throne and let me proclaim what He did for me to save me from Satan and changed my eternal destination from Hell to Heaven. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
