Day 207 – Steadfast

Psalm 108:1 (A Song. A Psalm of David.) O Elohiym, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. 2 Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. 3 I will praise You, O JEHOVAH, among the people, and I will sing praises to You among the nations. 4 For Your mercy is great above the heavens, and Your truth reaches the clouds. 5 Be exalted, O Elohiym, above the heavens, and Your glory above the whole earth; 6 that Your beloved may be delivered, save with Your right hand, and hear me.

7 Elohiym spoke in His holiness: “I will rejoice; I will divide Shechem and measure out the Valley of Succoth. 8 Gilead is Mine; Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet for My head; Judah is My lawgiver. 9 Moab is My washpot; over Edom I will cast My shoe; over Philistia I will triumph.” 10 Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom? 11 Is it not You, O Elohiym, who cast us off? You, O Elohiym, who did not go out with our armies? 12 Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless. 13 Through Elohiym we will do valiantly, for it is He who will tread down our enemies.

When you look at your life, what keeps you steadfast, immoveable? Where does your determination come from? Your circumstances would break a lesser person, but you stay the course, no matter how difficult your life seems.

David remained steadfast in Elohiym. He woke up praising Elohiym and blessing His name. He knew JEHOVAH was the only person who could save him from his enemies. David knew that only through Elohiym he would tread down his enemies and triumph valiantly. He also complained to Elohiym and asked why He didn’t go out with his armies. JEHOVAH’S reply to David showed how He viewed the nations and how He favored Judah as His lawgiver.

When you know how Yeshuwa sees you, you will be like David and wake up praising Him in the morning and remain steadfast in Him no matter what life looks like. Satan will always come against you, and it will seem like Yeshuwa isn’t helping you, yet He will always help you against your enemies. His favor is toward you, His child.

It’s time to praise Yeshuwa for your life and everything He brings you through every day. When you look at Him and turn your entire attention to Him, everyday troubles will melt away. Let Satan know he will never have the upper hand in your life because you will remain steadfast in Yeshuwa, praising Him for everything in your life.

Let’s pray: Father, I bless You and give You praise for everything You do for me every day. Let me see my troubles through Your eyes and keep me steadfast in You. Show me Your favor and bless me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
