Day 209 – KING OF KINGS

Psalm 110:1 (A Psalm of David.) JEHOVAH said to my Adown, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” 2 JEHOVAH will send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the middle of Your enemies! 3 Your people will be volunteers in the day of Your power; in the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth. 4 JEHOVAH swore and will not relent, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

 5 Adonay is at Your right hand; He will execute kings on the day of His wrath. 6 He will judge among the nations, He will fill the places with dead bodies, He will execute the heads of many countries. 7 He will drink of the brook by the wayside; therefore, He will lift up the head.

God’s names:

JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal

Adown – Sovereign Lord

Adonay – God’s proper name

Yeshuwa – Jesus

Elohiym – Supreme God

Logos of Theos – Word of God

Pantokrator – All-ruling, Almighty, Omnipotent

Theos – Supreme Divinity

BASILEUS – King

KURIOS – Supreme Authority

God’s character:

Strength

Power

Holy

Judge

Faithful

True

Righteous

Eyes like a flame of fire

High Priest

Many people go through this life without caring about what will happen to them. They deny Elohiym exists not realizing that in their denial, they become enemies of JEHOVAH.

David pens a prophetic psalm about Yeshuwa. JEHOVAH said to my Adown, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.” Adown is the Sovereign Lord, Yeshuwa, who will one day reign in the middle of His people. When He does, everyone who rejected Him will be nothing more than His footstool.

David further pens, “Your people will be volunteers in the day of Your power. When Yeshuwa returns in power, He will come with the saints to rule and reign.

Revelation 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Logos of Theos. 14 The armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword that He should strike the nations. He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Pantokrator Theos. 16 He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: BASILEUS OF BASILEUS AND KURIOS OF KURIOS.

David also said He would be a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. Only one person fills his description, Yeshuwa. He will fill the place with dead bodies and execute the kings who stood against Him.

Revelation 19:17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to the birds that fly in the middle of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great Theos, 18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of people, free and slave, both small and great.” 19 I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 The rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. The birds were filled with their flesh.

Hebrews 5:6 As He also says in another place: “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek”;

Hebrews 5:10 called by Theos as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,”

If you have been a Christian for any length of time, you know this is a prophetic psalm about Yeshuwa and what He will do when He returns for His bride, the church. Every description David penned is a vivid description of what He will do when He comes to reign at the end of the Tribulation. You also know you will be with Him to see Satan’s destruction in the lake of fire and brimstone where he will be throughout eternity with everyone who rejected Yeshuwa as Savior and Kurios.

If you haven’t received Yeshuwa as Savior and Kurios, now is the time to do so. You might not have another opportunity. Life has only one guarantee, everyone will die and face Yeshuwa’s judgment. What will your judgment be? Will you join Him in heaven, or will you face eternity separated from Him along with everyone who denies that He is the only true Elohiym, BASILEUS of BASILEUS and KURIOS OF KURIOS? The choice is yours. Make it wisely.

Let’s pray: Father, You alone are my Savior and Lord. You alone will reign as KING of KINGS and LORD of LORDS. I give You praise for my salvation and what Your Son did on the cross for me. Let my praise come before You now and forever. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
