Day 210 – Praise

Psalm 111:1 Praise JEHOVAH! I will praise JEHOVAH with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright and in the congregation. 2 The works of JEHOVAH are great, studied by everyone who has pleasure in them. 3 His work is honorable and glorious, and His righteousness endures forever. 4 He made His wonderful works to be remembered; JEHOVAH is gracious and full of compassion. 5 He gives food to those who fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant.

6 He declared to His people the power of His works, in giving them the heritage of the nations. 7 The works of His hands are verity and justice; His precepts are sure. 8 They stand fast forever and ever and are done in truth and uprightness. 9 He sent redemption to His people; He commanded His covenant forever: holy and awesome is His name. 10 The fear of JEHOVAH is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have they who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.

Do you have pleasure in everything you study? Do you want everyone to know what you study and the happiness it gives you?

The psalmist praised JEHOVAH because the more he studied the Law and covenant of JEHOVAH the more he praised Him. He let everyone know the joy the Law gave him. The psalmist praised JEHOVAH’S works, His compassion for His people, His provision, the redemption He offered everyone who took pleasure in the works of His hands.

When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord, you committed yourself to studying His Word. Through study, you begin to praise Him for everything He did for you and everything He continues to do for you. His praise should always be on your lips, in your heart, and in your life. When it is, you will praise Yeshuwa in the same manner the psalmist did.

Rejoice with a thankful heart for everything Yeshuwa does for you daily.

Let’s pray: Father, let my praise come into Your throne room for everything You do for me every day. Help me to study Your Word and let it be precious in my sight. Let me see more of Your works as I walk through this life and praise You for everything You do for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
