Good afternoon from sunny, breezy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s 76 F right now. Very pleasant.

Today was a good day. Laid back a bit like yesterday.

I’m thankful for the good night’s sleep I got. I got around 6.5 hours of sleep. It’s normal. I was getting 8 hours a night for a week. That’s unusual for me, so having it back to normal or almost normal is good. Normal is between 5-6 hours a night.

I’m thankful I got work done on the computer before I needed to leave with my neighbor for doctor appointments. First up was my chiropractor appointment. My best friend from Writer’s Guild and Rock Painting was there when we arrived. I admitted I needed a reset day yesterday which is why we didn’t go to Rock Painting and my neighbor couldn’t go. She was okay with me. My appointment went well, a slight adjustment and we were on our way.

I’m thankful for the time between appointments. We went to the grocery store. I know. I’ve been there three times now in a week’s time. I realized I would run out of shredded cheese for the church picnic potluck on Sunday if I didn’t get a package now. Groceries bought, we headed home to put them away then left for her appointment.

I’m thankful for her doctor. She’s thorough and told her she was doing fine after the treatment she needed to do this past week. Everything is looking good. She’ll see her again in November.

I am over the moon thankful I could get hold of a customer service PERSON for Peacock. Where we live we have free cable with Spectrum. Spectrum has a special offer for Select TV subscribers for free stations with Disney+, Paramount+, AMC+, HBO/Max, and Peacock. My neighbor wanted those channels to give her more variety in programming. She is computer illiterate and doesn’t own one, except for a tablet to play her games. When we set up the channels with help from a CSR for Spectrum, we used my alternate e-mail address, and ran into trouble. Peacock immediately canceled my subscription for overlap. They didn’t recognize the alternate e-mail. That’s when I realized we needed to get her an e-mail address. We spent hours on the phone with customer service with Spectrum and the other streaming channels to get the e-mail address changed. They all worked except Peacock. Today, I, using her tablet and chat with Peacock got the situation escalated to a supervisor for help to change the e-mail address. I let them know the e-mail I used no longer exists. I deleted it a couple of days ago so we could get the streaming channels fixed properly. We’re almost there. They said it would take 24-48 hours to resolve. I then showed my neighbor how to get into her e-mail account and to watch it for the next couple of days. I told her they would most likely send an e-mail so she could get the password taken care of. I don’t know what is so difficult about changing an e-mail address and password, but we’re almost there.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm after working with Peacock. I’m still filling holes. It’s coming along well.

I’m thankful for the reset I did yesterday. Today I felt so much better, more myself and not wanting to just be alone as I was yesterday. I needed the me day yesterday. Today, it was like I had ignited my body with sunshine. I’m always happy. Today, I felt happier.

I’m thankful I got my walk around the pond trail when we got home from appointments and before working with Peacock. I have all my steps and heart points for today. I’ll also work out on the foot cycle while I watch television.

I’m thankful I could spend time with you today. I see it’s a light day here which is perfectly fine. We all need days to just do other things beside spending the entire day on the computer, laptop, tablet, or phone. Me, it’s the desktop computer.

Okay, that’s my day. It was good. Time for me to get off the computer for the night now and veg out to television.

What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
