Morning.
The best time to be on the trail is early morning. This is sunrise on the trail a couple of years ago. I don’t often get out early, but when I do, it’s worth it.
I’m an early riser. I usually see the sun make an appearance in the morning as I do my Bible study.
I don’t see sunrise on my side of the complex. My apartment faces west. Though I see spectacular sunsets. It’s only when I’m on the trail in the early morning that I can see the sunrise and give God praise for a glorious display.
When I’m ambitious, as I am this morning, it’s also when I get the most done. This morning I ran the dishwasher and set the oven to clean mode. I know it doesn’t take long to do those chores, but it does take time to load the dishwasher. So, already I got a lot done. I’ll go for my walk on the trail in a few minutes as I want to get it done early, preferably in the morning. It’s also the time of day when I do laundry. I like to have it in the washer by 4 AM though lately it’s been closer to 6. For some reason, I’m sleeping longer so I’m getting up later than usual.
Morning is also when I spend most of my time here with all of you. I enjoy reading your posts first thing in the morning. It always puts a smile on my face and a zing in my step.
I never understood late risers. Half the morning is gone before they get out of bed. They miss those spectacular sunrises only God can create, and they are forced to do their work later in the day when they could enjoy the day with chores finished before noon.
Oh well, we are all different, praise God. For me, it’s morning. What is your favorite time of day? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
