Good evening from pleasant Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s 59 F and feels like 53 F. The low tonight will be 47 F. Fall is coming or already here. I love these temperatures.
It’s been a good day. Not perfect, but no day is ever perfect.
I’m thankful for cool weather and sunshine. It puts a smile on my face. I like to smile as you can see in my pictures. However, when the weather turns cool and the leaves on the trees start to turn, my smile is huge.
I’m thankful for the work I did today on Firestorm. With the added chapter, I needed to make changes to the next chapters. It’s coming along well. I’ll be writing new chapters soon.
I’m thankful for the time I spent here today. It’s always fun reading your posts.
I’m thankful for Canasta with the ladies in the third floor lounge. We had eight today, so partners all. Sadly, my partner and I lost both games, but the second was much closer than the first. Lots of fun, good laughter, and a great way to spend a couple of hours.
I’m thankful for the short shopping trip this afternoon. I have bananas. I ate my last one yesterday. T-bone steaks were also on sale. I found a nice package. There were three to a package. I had one for supper. Delicious! The other two are in the freezer.
I’m thankful I have all my steps for the day and heart points. I didn’t walk around the pond. I kept it inside, even on a nice day like today. I noticed yesterday, I was completely out of breath and worn out with just the pond trail. I’m glad I kept it inside. I don’t want to think I’m getting old when people older than me walk the trail, but I’m listening to my body and taking it easy. I’ll be back on the trail before long.
I’m thankful for today, Thursday. I’m counting down the days until next Thursday. I’m going on a three-day retreat next week. Three days of worship, praise, and ministry teaching. It will be awesome! It means you won’t see me. Though I plan to take my iPad. I have WordPress set up so I can get into it easily and at least post the Bible study. I can’t guarantee how early I’ll post as sunrise devotions starts at 7 AM. I went last year, so I know what to expect.

This is from last year.
What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. The images belong to me.
