Good afternoon from warm Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Currently it’s 77 F. On the way home from shopping it was 80 F. Alexa lied today. She said it would only be in the 60s. I dressed accordingly and needed to change out of my warm shirt.
It’s been a better than good day.
I’m thankful for the time I spent here with you. Your posts always give me a new perspective, a smile, and something to think about.
I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm this morning. Changes in the wind. Necessary. I told my friend last night that I need to fix the past to move forward. That’s true with life too not only writing.
I’m thankful for the shopping trip this afternoon. I have everything I need for the weekend retreat at Spencer Lake. It will be lots of fun. I got two party size bags of candy bars and an 8-bottle travel size case. Now I only need to fill them. I won’t need all of them, but I will use most of them.
I’m thankful for the work I did on Faith to Believe. The next book I want to publish. I haven’t worked on it since I started writing Firestorm.
I’m thankful for the small dinner party here in half an hour. We’re having T-bone steaks, baked potatoes with sauteed sweet onions, corn on the cob – my neighbor is making that. I’m marinading the steaks and will get them on the indoor grill in a few minutes. I also made fresh squeezed lemonade this morning.
Okay, that’s my day. It’s been better than good. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading.
