Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s down to 64 F. It was in the mid-70s today.
It was a good day today.
I’m thankful for a day of total relaxation. I must be exhausted from this past weekend. I tried to get some walking done, but didn’t get too far before I was out of breath and my back was letting me know it wasn’t going to walk today. So, I didn’t get my steps. It’s the first time in well over a year that I haven’t gotten even close to my quota for the day. And I’m okay with that.
I’m thankful for the time I worked on Firestorm. My brain is as fried as my body right now. I didn’t get much done. And I’m okay with that.
I’m thankful for the time I was here today, reading your posts. They hold a special place in my life. You’re all amazing people.
I’m thankful for prayer tonight. I’m still in shock over today’s events. We spent a good time of the prayer time focused on what happened in Utah. My heart and prayers go out to the Kirk family. I didn’t know him, but just the horrific actions of a person who thrives on hurting and killing people makes my heart bleed.
I have much to be thankful for tonight. Faith in God, friends and family, a roof over my head, and clothes to wear. I have the essentials and so much more. God is GOOD all the time, even when we don’t understand what is going on or why.
What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
