The short answer is yes, I see myself as a leader.
My roles as a leader.
- I am a mother. As such I needed to be a leader in my home, to raise my children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. I should have been a co-leader in my home, but my husband did not step up as the head of the family. He gave that responsibility to me. I did my best to train up my children in the way they should go so that when they are old they will not depart from the Lord.
- After my role as a mother, I was also a leader in college as the Student Senate President. Nobody else wanted the job, so I raised my hand and was unanimously voted in. I had good leadership with me. It was a fun time in my life.
- I lead a small group for my church. I followed the study guide on The Battle Plan for Prayer. I think I had ten people sitting around my table in the living room as we learned how to pray strategically to defeat our common enemy, Satan.
- I lead the prayer group here in the building I live in. We’re small, but I believe we will grow. We meet every week on Wednesday.
Being a leader is a God-given responsibility. As in my writing, I don’t do anything without His help and guidance as a leader in the various roles He gave me.
