Holidays are an important part of my life. I bring out my good dishes, spend hours preparing the feast, and enjoying it all with family and friends.
This was Easter a couple of years ago and last year. My son, his girlfriend, and my neighbor enjoyed a lamb dinner. The plates are different from year to year, but the menu is the same. Leg of lamb, mashed potatoes, fruit, deviled eggs, asparagus, and strawberry short cake. The angel food cake always goes home with my son. Not only do we celebrate Easter, but my son’s birthday.
This past Christmas was at my son’s and his girlfriend’s apartment. It was a wonderful celebration of food and family with games after.
Holidays are always fun no matter where they take place, and always involve family.
This was Thanksgiving with my son and daughter in my old apartment.
