Day 265 – Provision
Psalm 146:1 Praise YAHH! Praise JEHOVAH, O my soul! 2 While I live, I will praise JEHOVAH; I will sing praises to my Elohiym while I have my being. 3 Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. 4 His spirit departs; he returns to his earth; on that day his plans perish.
5 Happy is he who has the El of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in JEHOVAH his Elohiym, 6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them, who keeps truth forever, 7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. JEHOVAH gives freedom to prisoners. 8 JEHOVAH opens the eyes of the blind; JEHOVAH raises those who are bowed down; JEHOVAH loves the righteous. 9 JEHOVAH watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; but the way of the wicked He turns upside down. 10 JEHOVAH will reign forever—Your Elohiym, O Zion, to every generation. Praise YAHH!

You know them, the people who promise you everything and give you nothing. You can’t trust them.
David told the people not to trust people because they will always disappoint you. Instead, he told the people to put their trust in JEHOVAH, the El of Jacob, their Elohiym. He told them to praise (halal) YAHH and gave several reasons why they could trust Him.
- JEHOVAH created everything
- JEHOVAH executed justice for the oppressed
- JEHOVAH provided food for the hungry
- JEHOVAH provided freedom for prisoners
- JEHOVAH opened blind eyes – healed them
- JEHOVAH raised up those who were bowed down
- JEHOVAH loved the righteous
- JEHOVAH watched over strangers
- JEHOVAH took care of the fatherless and widow
With everything JEHOVAH did for His people, He proved He was the only one they could trust.
In yesterday’s study, you learned halal means to boast, to celebrate JEHOVAH. Do you boast about Yeshuwa? Do you celebrate everything He does for you.
Look at the list of what JEHOVAH did for His people. Yeshuwa does the same thing for you. Everything He does becomes a celebration. You can boast about what Yeshuwa does for you. In fact, He wants you to celebrate His goodness to you and the many blessings He gives you. When you do, He continues to bless you.
What has Yeshuwa done for you? Give Him halal. Get boisterous, celebrate, boast about everything. Yeshuwa wants to give you not only your needs, but also your desires.
In the parable about what Elohiym provides for His people, Yeshuwa told them He will give them everything they need and the other things they want.
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of Theos and His righteousness, and everything will be added to you.
Yeshuwa loves you and wants to give you everything you want. He is not a stingy Elohiym. He gives you the desires of your heart when you praise Him.
Let’s pray: Father, Your Word tells me about Your love and what You want to do for me. Too often I overlook the many blessings You give me and see only the trouble Satan brings my way. Open my eyes to see Your blessings in my life and boast and celebrate everything You do for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
