Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, on this first day of November 2025.

It’s been almost 40 days since I did the thankful post. Did you miss it? I’m almost finished with my 40 day fast. It got off to a good start, but I’ll get into the blessings of the fast on Thursday, when you might see more of me. I say might, because I started the ProWritingAid 50K NovNov challenge. I just posted my first 2000+ words. I’m off to a good start for the challenge.

I’m still writing Firestorm, and hoping to get 50K mileage out of it this month. I’m sitting at over 64 K so far this year. Another 50K will get me to over 110K and close to my usual 150K per novel word count.

Today, has been a good writing day. I also did my walking in the hallways. I walked the trail a couple of days ago. The weather is turning colder, which is a blessing, though the real blessing is that I have heat. They fixed my furnace yesterday. I notified the office about the furnace a month ago. They had to get a part, which finally came in, and voila, I have heat. 👍

I also talked to a friend I haven’t talked to in a while, a virtual friend I’ve known for over ten years. I talked to her for over an hour today, what a blessing that was!

I bought a Christmas tree last week or was it two weeks ago. Anyway, I put it up and it’s glowing in a wonderful clear and color display. It’s not tall, only about four feet.

My neighbor bought pizza today and asked me what kind I wanted. The store was running a buy one, get one deal. I made them in my oven.
