Day 291 – Wisdom

Proverbs 10:14 Wise people store up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.

God’s names:

Yeshuwa – Jesus

Hagios Pneuma – Sacred, Holy, Violent Wind, Breath, Spirit

Iesous – Jesus

Christos – Anointed One, Messiah

Judge

Most people love to learn new things. You know who they are. They have the answers to your most difficult questions. However, there are people who spew foolishness with every word they speak. You know them too and avoid them because you don’t want to participate in their foolishness.

Solomon studied people. He could discern between the wise and foolish people. He said the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. He saw a glimmer of hope for them if they stopped their foolish ways and listened to the wisdom of those with understanding.

Before you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Kurios, you might have been considered foolish. You were near destruction. If you kept to the path, you were on, you would have seen destruction. However, the Hagios Pneuma took hold of your heart and gave you a heart to seek wisdom and understanding. When you did, you found life.

Whenever you go to church, spend time in Bible study with fellow believers, study Yeshuwa’s Word with the intent to learn as much as you can, you seek wisdom. You store it up so that it becomes part of you. People know you when they see you. They identify you as a wise person, one they can go to for answers.

2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to Theos, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Consider your ways. Would you consider yourself wise or foolish? Do you seek Yeshuwa with your whole heart, or do you spend more time in worldly activities?

Many people who call themselves Christians, justify their activities and don’t believe it will take them from Yeshuwa’s will for their life. That’s what Satan wants you to believe. When you stand before Yeshuwa, He will take your activities and burn them with fire. Only those activities He authorized with stand.

1 Corinthians 3:11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Iesous Christos. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he built on endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Do you want to just barely get to heaven? Or do you want to live a life of wisdom and understanding, knowing the fruit of your life will lead to eternal life and Yeshuwa telling you, “Well done, good and faithful servant?”

Let’s pray: Father, take my life and show me where I am failing in my walk with You and give me a heart of wisdom and understanding, so I will receive a reward from You when I see You face to face. Give me discernment to Satan’s lies so I can keep my feet on the narrow path leading to eternal life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
