Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It was a pleasant day with temps in the low 50s and windy.
I had two things on my agenda today. I got them both done. Shopping and the 50K challenge.
I’m thankful for the work I did today on Firestorm. I just posted today’s word count – 15,232. I wrote 2159 words and gained two badges. I now have nine badges for the challenge. The story keeps evolving.
I’m thankful for the grocery shopping I did today. Because it looked like it would be an all afternoon affair, we went to eat at Olive Garden first and had their unending salad and soup. It’s easy on the budget and the calories.
I’m also thankful for the gift shopping I did today. I’m hosting one of the pastors from my church, hopefully next week, and wanted to get them something useful. They have five girls, I think six and under. The youngest might still be under a year old. I got them something I think they will all enjoy. I also got their parents a set of mugs that say: A little bit of coffee and a lot of Jesus. I’m sure they’ll love them.
With all the walking I did in the stores, I have all my steps for the day, which makes me happy.
I’m also thankful for the time I could be here today, reading your posts and interacting with you.
Next, I will get the apartment super clean. I even bought some floor cleaner today to make that happen. Living alone, the apartment doesn’t get that messy or dirty. So, it shouldn’t take long to deep clean the apartment.
What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
