Day 298 – Judgment
Proverbs 10:24 The fear of the wicked will come upon him, and the desire of the righteous will be granted. 25 When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation.
God’s names:
Yeshuwa – Jesus
JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal
Kurios – Supreme Authority
Pater – Father
Theos – Supreme Divinity
Iesous – Jesus
Christos – Anointed One, Messiah
God’s character:
Judge
Righteous
When do people who cause trouble become worried and fearful? When do they make plans to change the way they operate? Isn’t it when word gets out about their wicked ways. They will do everything they can not to get caught in their wickedness. However, the storm will overtake them and everything they did will tumble about their ears and they will face the consequences of their actions.
Everyone will face the consequences of their actions. Those who practice lawlessness will face JEHOVAH’S judgment. Those who reverenced Him in everything they did will face everlasting life.
Before you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Kurios, you practiced lawlessness. You might not have been as bad as those often found in the headlines, but you didn’t follow Yeshuwa and still faced eternal separation from Him. When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Kurios, you committed your life to obedience in everything He asked from you. Yeshuwa changed your eternal destination from separation to eternal life.
What can Satan bring against you to the Pater? What sin remains unrepentant? Yeshuwa knows everything about you and the sin you hide from the world. Be certain it will become known. Satan will guarantee it. You don’t want to face Yeshuwa’s judgment against your sin. You won’t lose your salvation, but you won’t have the reward He plans for you either.
1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are Theos’ fellow workers; you are Theos’ field; you are Theos’ building. 10 According to the grace of Theos gave to me, as a wise master builder I laid the foundation, and another builds on it. However, let each one take heed how he builds on it.
11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Iesous Christos. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
Confess your sin to Yeshuwa and live your life as pleasing to Him in everything you do. Then you will receive the reward for your faithfulness. When you do then you can say as Paul did when he finished the race.
2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Kurios, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to everyone who loved His appearing.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from every unrighteousness.
Let’s pray: Father, forgive me for every willful sin and every sin I hide from the world. Turn my heart to follow You in everything and remain faithful to You so that I will receive the reward You laid up for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 13 November 2025 by Valerie Routhieaux
