Day 299 – Faithful

Proverbs 10:26 As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the lazy man to those who send him.

God’s names:

Yeshuwa – Jesus

Kurios – Supreme Authority

Elohiym – Supreme God

Theos – Supreme Divinity

God’s character:

Faithful

Do you know people who set your teeth on edge? You avoid them as much as you can. They are useless. They boast about what they did but show no evidence of doing anything. When asked to do something they said they did, they give excuses not to work with you. They are lazy boasters.

Solomon held no regard for lazy people.

When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Kurios, you committed your life to obeying Him when He asked you to work for Him. However, He told His disciples the laborers are few. Many Christians tell Yeshuwa what they will do for Him and where they will go.

Matthew 9:37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore, pray the Kurios of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

From the beginning of Creation, you see an Elohiym who is always busy. He is a faithful Elohiym to accomplish everything He said He would do. He never says something and doesn’t follow through. He is faithful.

Philippians 2:13 for it is Theos who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

With Yeshuwa working in you, why do you refuse to obey Him when He gives you work to do? You should work with joy in everything He commits to you because it brings souls into the kingdom of Theos.

Don’t be a lazy laborer whom people avoid because the only thing they can count on from you is that you won’t show up to do the work. Instead, show yourself to be faithful to Yeshuwa in everything He gives you to do. Then people will know they can trust you to do the work.

Let’s pray: Father, let me say as Isaiah did when asked who would go for You, send me. Let me show myself faithful in everything You give me to do for the work of Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
