Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA where the temperature is a raw 34 F. It’s been a windy day.

It’s been a good day.

I’m thankful for the time I could be here with you, reading your posts and interacting with you. You are a wonderful part of my day.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm today. I needed to do some brainstorming with AI help. I do not let AI write only make suggestions based on what I’ve already written. From that I’m pulling together the end of the story. I still have a little ways to go. I also know when I finish the story, the true work starts, the editing, revision, and all the wonderful stuff I didn’t put into it that will make the story come alive to the reader. I just posted 2165 words, bringing my word count to 41,215 and a new badge when I crossed the 40K threshold. I have 8,785 words to go to 50K and the end of the challenge, though I plan to write to the last day of the month.

I’m thankful for a short outing this morning with my neighbor. She needed gas and needed me to do it for her as she doesn’t understand the paying at the pump thing. It took me a bit to get used to it too in the beginning. Then a trip to the grocery store. NO, I didn’t buy anything. Just walked around with her, getting my steps. Then it was home to pull the story together.

I’m thankful I shared a large pizza with my neighbor. I bought a margarita pizza a few days ago. I’ve been eyeing it for a couple of years. I finally bought it and I’m glad I did. It’s delicious! I still have a lot left. It was a large 14″ pizza.

Okay, that’s my day. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
