Day 302 – Truth

Proverbs 10:31 The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut out. 32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked knows what is perverse.

God’s names:

Yeshuwa – Jesus

Kurios – Supreme Authority

Hagios Pneuma – Sacred, Holy, Violent Wind, Breath, Spirit

Theos – Supreme Divinity

JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal

God’s character:

Wisdom

People can make you believe anything if they sprinkle their words with a nugget of truth. If you still won’t believe what they say, they bring forth people who will give testimonies about what they saw, did, heard, until you either walk away, or buy into their lies. However, an honest person doesn’t need false testimonies to back them up, truth is their mantle.

Solomon knew both kinds of people. They entered his court daily. As a man of wisdom, he could discern the truth from the lie and got rid of wicked people.

When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Kurios, He provided you with the Hagios Pneuma so you could discern between truth and lies. Satan will do everything he can to persuade you with his truth.

Eve believed his lies and sin entered the world. With sin, Satan could easily tempt man to do whatever he pleased. You need discernment to detect the lies he spews and walk in the truth of Yeshuwa’s Word.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask Theos, who gives to everyone liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Consider everything you hear, weigh it against the truth of JEHOVAH’S Word and you will always walk in His truth.

Let’s pray: Father, give me discernment so I will understand Your truth from Satan’s lies. Put a check in my spirit to weigh what I hear with Your Word. Let me walk in the Spirit so I will never go astray. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
