Day 303 – Integrity

Proverbs 11:1 Dishonest scales are an abomination to JEHOVAH, but a just weight is His delight.

God’s names:

JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal

Yeshuwa – Jesus

Kurios – Divine Authority

Christos – Anointed One, Messiah

Iesous – Jesus

Theos – Supreme Divinity

Elohiym – Supreme God

God’s character:

Integrity

The world seems to run on dishonesty. Nobody is trustworthy. People look out for themselves and take advantage of every opportunity they can by any means available to them. They tip the scales in their favor.

Solomon said those kinds of people were an abomination to JEHOVAH. He looked for integrity in people because they were the ones who delighted Him.

Psalm 14:1 (To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.) The fool has said in his heart, “There is no Elohiym.” They are corrupt, they have done abominable work, there is no one who does good. 2 JEHOVAH looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek Elohiym. 3 They turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, no, not one.

Romans 3:10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands; there is none who seeks after Theos. 12 They turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one. 13 Their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they practiced deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips; 14 whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. 15 Their feet are swift to shed blood; 16 destruction and misery are in their ways; 17 and the way of peace they have not known. 18 There is no fear of Theos before their eyes.”

When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Kurios, you committed to change your lifestyle.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christos, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, everything has become new.

When you come from a background of dishonesty, it’s hard to change what you know to take on the ways of Christos. However, when you place your life in Yeshuwa, He will help you become a person of integrity. Change doesn’t happen overnight. However, when you begin to trust other Christians, you will find it easier to lay aside your old life until one day, your old life will be gone, and you won’t look back at where you came from but use it as a testimony of your new life in Iesous Christos.

What change do you need to make in your life? Does Yeshuwa delight in you?

Let’s pray: Father, let my life delight you in everything I say and do. Get rid of every deceitful, dishonest way hidden in the depths of my being and give me a heart that delights you and rejoices in Your salvation. In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen. Copyright © 18 November 2025 by Valerie Routhieaux
