Good evening from cool Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s a chilly 34 F.

I have much to be thankful for today.

Today was my yearly eye exam. I’m especially thankful I called to confirm what time my appointment was half an hour before I was supposed to be there. I thought it was for this afternoon, it was this morning. I needed to hurry and find a ride. My neighbor was picking up her car, so she couldn’t take me. I found another friend who willingly got me there on time. The good news – no change from last year. So, I don’t need to buy new glasses. However, I do need eye drops because I spend too much time on the computer and it’s giving me dry eye. They gave me a free sample.

Then the huge news for which I’m truly thankful – I finished Firestorm today. The story is done, now the work begins. The editing and revision. I’ve been working on Firestorm since the second week in February. When I started it, I didn’t have a title for it yet and posted the first six chapters under the title My Fairy Tale. It changed a lot since those chapters. It’s a great story. I think it’s one of my best ever.

I’m thankful for two phone calls from two precious friends whom I told my good news to. They’re happy for me.
