Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA where the temperature is a balmy 47 F. Balmy for this time of year when temperatures fluctuate between the low 30s to the mid 50s. I see memory pictures from bygone years with snow on the ground. This year it’s still green. I’m wishing for snow.
It’s been a good day.
I’m thankful. The turkey is in the fridge thawing for Thanksgiving on Thursday, and I went shopping for the trimmings this morning – sweet potato pie, mashed potatoes, fresh fruit salad, green bean casserole, and Kings Hawaiian dinner rolls. It will be a wonderful dinner.
Back on the home front, I’m thankful for the work I did today on Firestorm. The edit and revision is coming along well. I worked with AI and the many suggestions through several chapters. I’m learning a lot more this way than I expected to. When I’m finished with this edit, I will read it through and I’m certain I will make more adjustments until I’m fully satisfied with it and it’s ready for the final step – publication. In the meantime, I have a long way to go before I reach that final step.
I’m thankful I got the laundry done this morning, folded, and put away before I went shopping.
Now, my eyes are demanding a break from the computer. So is my back that has been in pain most of the day. A heating pad and TV will be a good way to round out tonight.
I’m also thankful for the time I spent with you, reading your posts and interacting with you. You make my day wonderful.
What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
