Day 311 – Blessings
Proverbs 11:10 When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices; and when the wicked perish, there is jubilation. 11 By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.

When everything goes well, it’s easy to find happiness in your daily life. It’s easy to rejoice when life is good for the city where you live. However, when people who flaunt the law, live according to their ways, perish, everyone celebrates. Nobody likes to live in a city where corruption takes place at the highest levels. People seek justice and find none.
Solomon enjoyed a peaceful reign free from war. Jerusalem rejoiced with his kingship over them. They lived in peace and safety. However, not everything Solomon did pleased JEHOVAH. When he died, his son reigned in his place and Elohiym divided the kingdom because of Solomon’s sin – worshiping the elohiym of his many wives. As long as Solomon obeyed Elohiym, the people rejoiced.
When you turned your life over to Yeshuwa, you committed yourself to obedience to His Word. You lived in peace with those around you. Your life was good. Your blessings were many. You easily saw the difference between those who believed in Yeshuwa and those who didn’t.
However, Satan is alive and well. He attacks the hearts and minds of believers until they no longer follow what Yeshuwa tells them, but their own ways. Corruption eats at their lives and their relationship with Yeshuwa.
How do you keep yourself free from worldly influence? How do you keep Yeshuwa in the center of your life? You do it by reading and studying His Word. Praying often. Seeking the influence of other believers in Bible study and going to church. When you do, Yeshuwa will bless you. You will rejoice with other believers in their joy. You will pray for the overthrow of wickedness in your city.
1 Thessalonians 5:14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone but always pursues what is good both for yourselves and for everyone.
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of Theos in Christos Iesous for you. 19 Do not quench the Pneuma. 20 Do not despise prophecies. 21 Test everything; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.
23 Now may the Theos of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Kurios Iesous Christos. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
This is your roadmap to blessings in Yeshuwa. When you live your life as pleasing to Him, listening to Him, obeying Him, He will bless you and you will find peace in your life.
Let’s pray: Father, help me to always listen to You and live in peace with those around me. Give me Your blessings as I do Your will. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
