Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s 21 F and cold out there. Meaning it feels colder than 21 F. Woke up to 8 F this morning.
I’m thankful for so much today.
I’m thankful I went back to a blog site I was with for a long time. My friends on there were happy to see me back. It’s a site I can earn a little bit with each month.
I’m thankful I could help my neighbor who has been without heat for a month and with temperatures as cold as they were overnight, her apartment was freezing. Between us and a friend, we made calls, the first to the police to get them over here to see the state of her apartment. 1. She’s elderly. 2. She’s handicapped. She has legal rights to have her heat on NOW. The police got a fire lit under the management’s derrier. There’s a promise of it being fixed on Thursday morning. They also gave her a second heater for her apartment. Space heaters are illegal in apartments. She also called Housing. With the police report, the property could be fined for the condition of her apartment. I’m glad I could help her get things moving in the right direction.
I’m thankful I could be here with you today. It’s always good to interact with you and read your wonderful posts.
I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm. I know I said I would put it away and focus on Faith to Believe, but I want to get this first revision done. I still plan to publish Faith to Believe in January and no later than February. The work has been going well on the book.
I’m also thankful I got bananas today. We went shopping and when I got to Walmart the banana stand was empty except for a few bananas that have seen better days. I had already checked out when my friend called and told me the banana boat arrived and they were filling the stand. I have bananas, two bunches of them. I’m a happy camper.
Okay, that’s my day. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
