Day 319 – Lifestyle

Proverbs 11:20 Those who are of a perverse heart, are an abomination to JEHOVAH, but the blameless in their ways are His delight.

God’s names:

JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal

Yeshuwa – Jesus

Soter – Savior

Kurios – Supreme Authority

God’s character:

Blameless

People don’t like those who do terrible things. They become fodder for tabloids and the Internet news focusing on every bad thing they do, especially if they are in public office. They also become the focus of gossip in your local community. However, kind people will be welcomed wherever they go.

Solomon, as king of Israel saw every type of person. He saw how their actions affected the blessings JEHOVAH poured out on them. If they were wicked, they would be abominable to Him. If they were blameless, He blessed them.

When you accepted Yeshuwa as Soter and Kurios, you committed to change your lifestyle from the wicked nature you had before to a blameless nature. One lifestyle leads you to eternal separation, while leading a blameless life brings eternal life and blessings. It’s easy to see what kind of life you should live as a child of Yeshuwa.

What kind of Christian are you? Do people recognize Yeshuwa living in you, or do your actions bring questions about your salvation?

Live your life as pleasing to Yeshuwa and nobody will question your salvation. You will see His blessings in your life, and you will know your salvation is assured.

Let’s pray: Father, help me live my life as pleasing to You. When people see me let them recognize You in me. Let my actions and my speech be pleasing to You and others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
