Day 322 – Desire
Proverbs 11:23 The desire of the righteous is only good, but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.
God’s names:
Yeshuwa – Jesus
JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal
Soter – Savior
Kurios – Supreme Authority
God’s character:
Righteous
Judge
What is your greatest desire? What will it do for you? Will it bring good things into your life, or will it lead to judgment?
Solomon said the desires of the righteous brought good things to their lives, but the desires of the wicked led to JEHOVAH’S wrath.
Before you became a Christian, your desires fed your basest pleasures and led to your destruction. When Yeshuwa became your Soter and Kurios, you changed your desires to what would please Him and not yourself. You began seeing Yeshuwa’s blessings in your life, not His wrath.
What is your desire? Does it please you or Yeshuwa? Do you receive Yeshuwa’s blessings or His wrath? If you have not accepted Yeshuwa as your Soter and Kurios, now is the time. Don’t delay. If Yeshuwa is your Soter and Kurios, you know the blessings you receive daily as His child. Your answer will decide your eternal destination – life with Yeshuwa for eternity or eternal separation from Him. The choice is yours alone.
Let’s pray: Father, I am a sinner. I deserve Your wrath and eternal separation from You. Forgive me for seeking my pleasures and not You and Your will for my life. Change my heart to seek only what You want for me. Bless me and give me Your eternal life with You as Your child. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
