My favorite exercise is swimming. Unfortunately, it’s been a long time since I could get to the Kroc Center to swim. I don’t have a car and my friend, is a late sleeper, so getting there early is difficult and the later time is no longer compatible because they don’t have the lifeguards to keep the pool open past 11 AM. However, I’m always hopeful I will get back there soon.
I also walk every day. I enjoy walking. It helps to keep moving. I also use the foot cycle my sister gave me for Christmas a few years ago. It really helps. I can use it while I’m watching television.
As for activities. My favorite activity is writing. Like walking and exercise, I write every day. I have nine books to my credit, and in the coming year, God willing, I will add four more. I’ve kept them on the back burner this year while I wrote Firestorm. I am almost completed with the edit and revision of Firestorm. Then I will focus on the other novels I have ready to finalize for publication.

I also love to paint rocks.

I painted this rock for Mother’s Day this year.
When I started rock painting at my friend’s suggestion, I didn’t think there was an artist in me. I never could draw as a child or young adult, so the idea of rock painting was laughable. I’m no longer laughing. I glow with pride when people look at my rocks and tell me how good they are.

This is my latest rock, painted last week and now graces the holiday table in the hallway.
Another activity and the most important, is Bible study. Like the other activities and exercises, I study my Bible every day. I post the Bible study on the site so others can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ also. From the day I accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord back in 1980, the Bible has been the center of my life. When Jesus asked me to share my Bible study, I posted it on the Yahoo group I had joined. From that day until now, I have posted the Bible study every day. Every time I finish reading the Bible, I find more blessings in what God has shown me through the study. My current study on the names and character of God blesses me every day. I love knowing His name in both Hebrew and Greek the way the people God inspired to write the Bible knew His name. When I look at the meanings of His name, I am blessed beyond measure.

These are my favorite exercises and activities. What are yours? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for sharing. The images belong to me.
