Wisdom
How people act is on display for the world to see. You can easily see good and bad people. When people are good, everything they do brings forth good things in their lives. People naturally gravitate to those who display integrity in their lives.
Solomon said the fruit of a person’s life is like a tree. When the fruit is good, it produces life in everything they do. He went on to say that those who win souls are wise. Their example caused their children and friends to see the wisdom of following JEHOVAH and living in obedience to Him, winning souls for Him.
Yeshuwa told the people everyone would know who they were by their fruit.
Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore, by their fruits you will know them.
People pay attention to what you tell them. When you try to tell them about the love Yeshuwa has for them, but your life is contrary to your words, no one will believe you. However, when your life is an example of Yeshuwa’s love in everything you say and do, you will win them to Yeshuwa and bring salvation to their household. Your fruit will be a tree of life to them.
Yeshuwa said He was the vine, and you are the branches. Your life in Him is seen in the fruit that comes from the vine.
John 15:1 “I am the true vine, and My Pater is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the words which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you want, and it will be done for you. 8 By this My Pater is glorified that you bear much fruit; so, you will be My disciples.
Everything you do, good and bad, proclaims who you are in the body of Christos. Is your life producing fruit for salvation? Solomon said those who win souls are wise. Let your life show the wisdom of a life bearing the fruit of righteousness.
Let’s pray: Father, help me to show Your love to everyone. Let my words and actions show I belong to You. Help me bear the fruit of righteousness in my life so others will be drawn to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
