Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It’s 15 F and feels like it too. No severe wind chills. The extreme weather is done for now.
It’s been a good day.
I’m thankful for a full night’s sleep. Even my Fitbit agrees that I got a full night’s sleep. 👍
I’m thankful I got the laundry done by 6:30 and put away soon afterward. I’m also thankful I got the Secret Santa gift delivered and my Christmas cards mailed out while the laundry was in the washer. After the Bible study was finished I printed up fliers for my New Year’s Day Open House that I have every year and have had since my daughter was 15. She’s 51 now, so you know I’ve been doing this for a long time. Since I moved in to this complex, I’ve had more response. People look forward to it every year. So do I. I accomplished all this before 7:30 AM.
I’m thankful I went to the doctor with my neighbor. I’m on her contact information so I can keep track of her appointments and test results. She doesn’t know how to answer texts on her phone. Anything electronic is beyond her. I help her a lot with her television and phone. This way when she gets notified about her appointments, I’ll get them and can keep her ahead of the game.
I’m thankful we went shopping this morning. I thought I only needed the few items I bought for Christmas dinner. Unfortunately, I forgot about the sides. There will be one more shopping trip this week. At least the sides don’t cost too much.
I’m thankful for the time I could be here interacting with you when I got home this morning. Reading your stories is a bonus for my day.
I’m thankful for the work I did on Faith to Believe. Once I get this edit finished, I need to read it through to see how it sounds. I might put it on the audible site I joined during the 50K challenge. I put Firestorm on that one today and started listening to it. It sounds good.
Okay, that’s my day. It does and doesn’t feel like I did a lot today. What are you thankful for today? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
