Day 331 – Favor

Proverbs 12:2 A good man obtains favor from JEHOVAH, but a man of wicked intentions He will condemn. 3 A man is not established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous cannot be moved.

God’s names:

JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal

Yeshuwa – Jesus

Theos – Supreme Divinity

Pnuema – Violent Wind, Breath, Spirit

Logos – Word

Shadday – Almighty

El – God

God’s character:

Favor

Judge

Righteous

How do you know the difference between a good man and a wicked man? Look at their intentions. How a person acts, what he says, how he portrays himself will tell you what kind of man he is. Even his thoughts will betray a person of wicked intentions. However, a man of good intentions will also bear the kind of person he is. You won’t find fault with him.

Solomon said a man of good intentions will find favor from JEHOVAH. Instead, He condemns people with wicked intentions. However, a righteous person will never be moved no matter how a wicked person might try to influence him.

Movies are good at showing you the difference between good and bad. Consider the Artful Dodger. No matter how hard he tried, he could not get Oliver to become like him.

As Christians, you need to stand firm in your faith and convictions. Satan will do everything he can to persuade you that the world is good when you know it isn’t. When you put the full armor of Theos on every day, it will be hard for Satan to come against you. He cannot break through a person armed in prayer, armed with the Sword of the Pneuma, walking with the gospel of peace and wearing the breastplate of righteousness. Nor can he influence your thoughts when you wear the helmet of salvation. Your girdle is truth, and your sword is the Logos of Theos.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Kurios and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of Theos, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the whole armor of Theos, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above everything, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Pneuma, which is the Logos of Theos; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Pneuma, being watchful to this end with perseverance and supplication for the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

When you stand in your armor, nothing can come against you. You cannot be moved. Satan stands defeated before he can come against you. His intentions are always wicked. While you live in the righteous favor of Shadday El. Nothing will move you from His righteous favor.

Let’s pray: Father, I stand protected in Your armor from every evil intention Satan brings against me. Help me to stand firm in my faith without wavering, knowing You will always stand beside me in the battle. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
