Day 336 – Animal Welfare

Proverbs 12:10 A righteous man regards the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

  • God’s names:
  • Yeshuwa – Jesus
  • Elohiym – Supreme God
  • Soter – Savior
  • Kurios – Supreme Authority
  • God’s character:
  • Righteous

People dedicate their lives to animal rescue. They go into homes to rescue hundreds of cats and dogs who live in their own feces. Animals don’t deserve that kind of treatment. You know people who take care of their animals, they have healthy coats and trust their owners.

Solomon detested animal cruelty. He showed how even the tender mercies of wicked people were cruel to their animals. Whereas those who trusted Elohiym, treated their animals with kindness.

Christians aren’t only to show kindness to other people; they should show the same kindness to their pets. When they do, their pets will show unconditional love and affection to their owners.

When Yeshuwa is your Soter and Kurios, you will treat everyone and your animals with kindness.

Do you have pets? How do you treat them? Let Yeshuwa’s love shine through every area of your life, including how you treat your pets.

Let’s pray: Father, let Your love shine through everything I do, including how I treat animals. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
