God’s names:

JEHOVAHA – Self-existent, Eternal
Adonay – God’s proper name
Iesous – Jesus
Kurios – Supreme Authority
God’s character:
Diligent
One thing you see a lot of across the country and the world is homelessness. Many of those people refuse to work. They would tell you what they would do if, but they refuse to do anything about what they would do. Instead, they live on the streets looking for handouts. Then there are those who want to make something of their lives and will do whatever they can to change their status.
Solomon saw beggars sitting in the gates to the cities. He knew the ones who couldn’t work, and he saw the ones who could work but were too lazy to make the effort, so they begged.
You see just as many beggars sitting in church pews. They want whatever they can get from other Christians, but when it comes to helping in the various ministries, they hand the clipboard to someone else or they hurry out the door after church, afraid someone will ask them to help in various ministries.
Christians should set the example. When they see something that needs doing, they should be first in line asking where they can help or seeing the need and filling it without being told.
JEHOVAH asked who would go, and Isaiah said, “Send me.”
Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of Adonay, saying: “Whom will I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
How many people are willing to do the work of the ministry? How many people raise their hands and say, send me?
Yeshuwa told the disciples to pray for laborers in the harvest.
Matthew 9:35 Then Iesous went about the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36 When He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore, pray the Kurios of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
The harvest of souls is greater than the number of people willing to go to the harvest fields. However, those with a willingness to go to the harvest will reap the rewards Yeshuwa laid up for those diligent to do the work.
Are you one of the diligent workers for the Kingdom of Yeshuwa? Can He count on you to do the work, or does He pass you by because of your excuses?
Let’s pray: Father, when You ask for volunteers for Your work, send me. Give me a willing heart to do Your work. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
