Day 347 – Life
Proverbs 12:28 In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway, there is no death.
- God’s names:
- Yeshuwa – Jesus
- JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal
- Elohiym – Supreme God
- Soter – Savior
- Kurios – Supreme Authority
- Christos – Anointed One, Messiah
- Pneuma – Violent Wind, Breath, Spirit
- Theos – Supreme Divinity
- Iesous – Jesus
- God’s character:
- Salvation
- Righteousness
When people die you hear about what a good person he or she was and if they suffered, they’re now at peace.
Solomon wasn’t talking about physical life or physical death, but the life and death of the soul. He could see how a person’s life lent itself to eternal life with JEHOVAH. For those who lived for Elohiym, he saw only life when they crossed into eternity.
When you became a Christian, you stepped into eternity with Yeshuwa. You broke the chains of death from your life and committed to living a righteous life. Those who know you also see the difference in your eternal destination. Then when you die your friends will know death isn’t part of your eternal destination, only life.
What kind of life are you living? Have you made Yeshuwa your Soter and Kurios? Do you live for Him or is your life void of Yeshuwa and the life He promised to everyone who acknowledged Him as Soter and Kurios?
You can enjoy new life with Him today and change your eternal destination to life with Him. You only need to acknowledge Him as your Soter and Kurios.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christos, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Romans 8:9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Pneuma, if indeed the Pneuma of Theos dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Pneuma of Christos, he is not His. 10 And if Christos is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Pneuma is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Pneuma of Him who raised Iesous from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christos from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Pneuma who dwells in you.
You have a choice — eternal life or eternal death.
Let’s pray: Father, You are my Savior and Lord. You are the one I live for. Your life lives in me. Let my life show I belong to You in everything I say and do. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
