God’s character:

Rewarder

When you look at the world, you see a tapestry of beliefs or non-belief in God. You see gods for every possible idea a person could formulate. You also see how taking God out of society has brought it to its knees.

Solomon knew the Law of Moses. It had been instilled in him by his father, David. He trusted JEHOVAH, and he saw how the nations surrounding Israel put their faith in false elohiym, and how JEHOVAH destroyed the nations. He also saw how those who trusted Elohiym saw His favor on their lives.

The day you were born you started on the path of salvation. Only you know what your path looks like. Many people embrace the world view of no Elohiym, or don’t care about what He wants from them until the small voice of the Hagios Pneuma starts to work on their hearts and they see where their lives are leading and want to change. Then Yeshuwa became important to you, and you became a Christian, embracing Him for who He is and wanting everything He could give you. You saw the path of destruction Satan was leading you down and praised Yeshuwa for taking you out of the flames of your destruction.

When JEHOVAH gave the law to Moses, He gave him a set of commandments His people were to follow. The second commandment is one people disregard, and what Solomon alluded to in the Scripture above.

Exodus 20:7 “You will not take the name of JEHOVAH your Elohiym in vain, for JEHOVAH will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

People freely use Yeshuwa’s name in vain without thought or concern. They don’t realize what they are doing to their eternal soul. When you said ‘yes’ to Yeshuwa as Soter and Kurios, you committed to living your life with full awareness of what you say. People pay attention to what you say and do as a Christian.

When Isaiah saw Adonay sitting on his throne, he said, “Woe is me!”

Isaiah 6:5 So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the middle of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the Melek, JEHOVAH of Tsaba.”

Are you a person of unclean lips? Commit your life to changing your words and glorify Yeshuwa with everything you say.

Let’s pray: Father, take my words and let them glorify You in everything I say. Let praise come forth from my lips and not slander for Your name. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
