Day 359 – Faithfulness

Proverbs 13:17 A wicked messenger falls into trouble, but a faithful ambassador brings health.

God’s names:

Yeshuwa – Jesus

JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal

Elohiym – Supreme God

God’s character:

Faithful

Healer

Do you know someone who always seems to be surrounded by trouble? Trouble follows them wherever they go. When you talk to them, what do they talk about?

As king in Israel, Solomon saw a great number of people. Some brought pain and heartache with them, while others were a delight to be around. As he studied those people, he saw the difference was in their faithfulness to JEHOVAH. Those who brought trouble, didn’t follow the laws of Elohiym, while those who were faithful in everything they did, showed the blessings of Elohiym in their lives.

What kind of person were you before you gave your life to Yeshuwa? Did you complain about everything? Did people see you with a sour look on your face? Or were you positive and looked for the good in people? Do you smile and encourage people?

It is hard for a negative person to change, but not impossible. Nobody wants to be surrounded by trouble. They want Yeshuwa’s blessings in their lives. The first thing you must do is commit your life to change. Change your attitude. You can’t do it just by deciding to make the change, you need help – Yeshuwa’s help. You can live around negative people all your life and still smile and encourage others. It’s one of the hardest things to accomplish, but when you give your life to Yeshuwa and ask Him to change you from the inside out, you will become a faithful ambassador for Him and people will want to spend time with you instead of walking the other way when they see you.

Let’s pray: Father, change me to be more like You. When negative thoughts come my way, help me look at the positive and cast Satan and his trouble away from me. Let me see the good in others and encourage them and not be someone with trouble hanging around them like a weight. Help me to be a faithful ambassador for You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
