Nature has so many wonderful animals. I can’t narrow it to a favorite. These deer in the photo come around every night, though I haven’t seen them lately, and my neighbor who always put our carrots and apples for them, can’t do that right now with her bruised ribs. I also don’t know if they hibernate in winter, though I don’t think so.

I’m also intrigued by chimpanzees. I love their antics when I’ve visited the zoo, which I haven’t done in many years. I also love seeing the giraffe, elephant and so many other animals. It’s hard to choose a favorite. Then there are the cats – lions, cheetahs, jaguars, leopards – their sleek lines and stalking nature. Wolves are simply beautiful, their piercing blue eyes. I could go on. Nature has so many wondrous animals, some on the brink of extinction. It’s hard to choose a favorite when they’re all beautiful, with unique gifts only God could give them to help with their survival.
