People love to eat. As the new year starts, they want to eat what will satisfy them and bring them health and vitality. When you go to the grocery store, you see people who care about their health, and you see those who don’t and grab food that destroys the body instead of keeping it healthy.

Solomon wasn’t talking about food you put in your mouth, but food that satisfies the soul. The only food that satisfies the soul is the Word of JEHOVAH. When Solomon read the Law of Moses as JEHOVAH required, he ate to satisfy his soul. He saw that those who didn’t read the Law were wicked and brought leanness to their souls.

Yeshuwa told the people about food that satisfies when the people found Him on the other side of the Sea of Tiberias, they asked Him how He got there.

Joh 6:25 And when they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when did You come here?”

26 Iesous answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Huios of Anthropos will give you, because Theos the Pater has set His seal on Him.”

28 Then they said to Him, “What can we do, that we may work the works of Theos?”

29 Iesous answered and said to them, “This is the work of Theos, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

30 Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? 31 Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”

32 Then Iesous said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Pater gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of Theos is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

34 Then they said to Him, “Kurios, give us this bread always.”

35 And Iesous said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.

Your bread is the Word of Theos. When you read it and study it, you satisfy your soul and it becomes healthy and full of life.

Are you satisfying your soul by feeding it with the Word of Theos? Or does your Bible or Bible App remain closed? Open Yeshuwa’s Word today and begin eating soul satisfying food.

Let’s pray: Father, fill me with Your Word so that my soul is satisfied. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
