Day 1 – Integrity

Proverbs 14:2 He who walks in his uprightness fears JEHOVAH, but he who is perverse in his ways despises Him.

  • God’s names:
  • JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal
  • Yeshuwa – Jesus
  • Soter – Savior
  • Kurios – Supreme Authority
  • Hagios Pneuma – Sacred, Holy, Violent Wind, Breath, Spirit
  • God’s character:
  • Righteous

What do you look for in people? Employers look for people of integrity. Those looking for a spouse, look for dependability. People look for friendship, look for friendly people. In short, people look for honesty and reliability in the people they meet. It’s easy to see people with a dishonest nature. You can’t depend on them.

Solomon dealt with people every day as king of Israel. He knew when a person was upright and trusted JEHOVAH in everything they did, and he knew those who looked for dishonest gain, trusting only themselves.

What kind of person were you before you accepted Yeshuwa as Soter and Kurios? Could people rely on you when they need help, or work done? Did your employer see you as dependable, or did you find yourself on the unemployment line? Who you were before Yeshuwa came into your lives, spills over into your new life as a Christian.

It takes work to become a person of integrity when you live a life characterized by deceit and personal gain. However, when your life is one founded on honesty and dependability, you find life easier, not easy. Your employer can trust you, so can your friends and family.

When you put your faith and trust in Yeshuwa to guide your life, He will lead you on the narrow path. It won’t be an easy journey, but with the help of the Hagios Pneuma to help you along the way, your journey will be more fulfilling, and you will find it easier to shun Satan’s temptations.

Matthew 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (NKJV)

Let Yeshuwa lead you in a life of uprightness and you will find your life filled with joy in His presence and people will rely on you because of your dependability.

Let’s pray: Father, guide my life in integrity of spirit. Let me be a person people can depend on. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
