What are your favorite sports to watch and play?

Soon athletes from around the world will enter the stage for the greatest sporting event to compete for the greatest prize the sport can offer – the Olympics. This year it is the Winter Olympics held in Milan, Italy. As they enter the world’s stage, proudly entering the arena displaying their country’s flags, I will be watching, a witness to their glory. I will watch them shine as they win medals for their country.

I could never hope to compete in any sports, but I enjoy watching those who spent years and many hours every day to compete on this stage. It will outshine every sport we watch in the various seasons of the year. It will be a wonderful display of talent and the winners will bring home gold, silver, and bronze medals.

Will you be watching as I will? Do you know the names of the athletes competing for your country? It won’t be long now before the world will watch either in person or on television. I will have a front row seat as I watch the events unfold on my television screen. The Olympics are a week away – February 6.
