Day 10 – Love

Proverbs 14:14 The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, but a good man will be satisfied from above.

  • God’s names:
  • Yeshuwa – Jesus
  • Adonay – God’s proper name
  • Elohiym – Supreme God
  • JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal
  • God’s character:
  • Blesser

People want to take backsliders and shake them up so they see the right path, but they are too engrossed in their ways that they believe they’re right and the world is wrong.

Solomon saw the hearts of his people. He recognized those who turned their back on Adonay and lived their lives their way, not seeing the consequences of their actions. Solomon also fell into that trap, seeking worldly love and devotion with his many foreign wives and worshiping their elohiym instead of the true Elohiym. Soloman’s salvation came by recognizing what he did and returning to JEHOVAH.

The cry of every Christian’s heart is for the lost, specifically in their family. Loved ones who know the truth, lived it for a while, then turned away from it and embraced the world around them. Prayer forms on their lips for their loved ones to return to the truth – Yeshuwa loves them. Prayer for their loved ones will always be on their hearts and minds until they return from their backslidden ways and embrace Yeshuwa who loves them. Yeshuwa said, the truth would set them free.

John 8:32 “And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

Your loved ones don’t know the darkness they live in. You need to pray and keep on praying for them, no matter how long it takes until realization dawns and Yeshuwa’s love sets them free and the backslider comes home to His love.

Let’s pray: Father, You know my heart for my loved ones who live far from You. You hear the cry of my heart for them. Send Your Holy Spirit to nudge them and show them the truth and dispel the lie they live in. Set them free. Bring them home to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
