I have a very easy way of budgeting. When I get my SS check, I pay all my bills immediately. That way, I don’t worry about forgetting, and leaving myself short. I have some smaller bills that pay automatically when due. The money is always there for those bills.

Since Social Security messed with the timing of my check when I turned 65, I needed to make an adjustment about when I paid those bills. Now, they’re all paid a month early so they aren’t late. Bills paid = now worries.
