Have you felt like someone is watching you? That sixth sense makes the hair on your neck stand up, and when you look around, you find someone is watching you, or no one is.
Solomon knew JEHOVAH watched everyone because He is everywhere. He is El Roiy, the Elohiym who sees everything.
People want to believe no one will see their bad actions. They are under the misconception that they will never be caught. Yet El Roiy sees everything because JEHOVAH watches. He sees you.
When you accepted Yeshuwa as Soter and Kurios, you realized He saw everything you did from the moment you were born. Nothing escaped His watchful eye.
What brought you to the cross? When was the moment you knew Yeshuwa saw you and you knew you could not escape His watchfulness in your life?
Many people go through life wishing someone would see them. They go through life misunderstood with no one caring about them or what they did.
Hagar was a person who felt like no one cared. It wasn’t until Sarai sent her away, and she wandered in the desert, that she met El Roiy, and knew JEHOVAH saw her.
Genesis 16:7 Now the Mal’ak of JEHOVAH found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur. 8 He said, “Hagar, Sarai’s maid, where have you come from, and where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from the presence of my mistress Sarai.” 9 The Mal’ak of JEHOVAH said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hand.” 10 Then the Mal’ak of JEHOVAH said to her, “I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they will not be counted for multitude.” 11 The Mal’ak of JEHOVAH said to her: “Behold, you are with child, and you will bear a son. You will call his name Ishmael, because JEHOVAH has heard your affliction. 12 He will be a wild man; His hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. He will dwell in the presence of his brethren.” 13 Then she called the name of JEHOVAH who spoke to her, El Roiy; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?” 14 Therefore, the well was called Beer Lahai Roi (B@’er la-Chay Roiy); observe, it is between Kadesh and Bered. — Well of the living One, my Seer
Yeshuwa sees everything you do. When no one else sees you, He does. When no one else cares about you, He does. He holds you in the palm of His hand and sees you as the apple of His eyes.
Deuteronomy 32:1 “Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. 2 Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, as raindrops on the tender herb, and as showers on the grass. 3 For I proclaim the name of JEHOVAH: Ascribe greatness to our Elohiym. 4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, An El of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He. 5 They have corrupted themselves; they are not His children, because of their blemish: a perverse and crooked generation. 6 Do you thus deal with JEHOVAH, O foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Ab, who bought you? Has He not made you and established you? 7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you: 8 When the Elyown divided their inheritance to the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel. 9 For JEHOVAH’S portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance. 10 He found him in a desert land and in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. 11 As an eagle stirs up its nest, hovers over its young, spreading out its wings, taking them up, carrying them on its wings, 12 So JEHOVAH alone led him, and there was no foreign elohiym with him. 13 He made him ride in the heights of the earth, that he might eat the produce of the fields; He made him draw honey from the rock, and oil from the flinty rock; 14 curds from the cattle, and milk of the flock, with fat of lambs; and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the choicest wheat; and you drank wine, the blood of the grapes.
Zechariah 2:8 For thus says JEHOVAH of Tsaba: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.
John 10:27 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; neither will anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Pater, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Pater’s hand. 30 My Pater and I are one.”
It should give you great peace, knowing Yeshuwa watches you, seeing everything you do. It should also give you peace, knowing that if He sees you, and the good you do, He also sees those who do evil and will judge them because He is a just Theos.
Let’s pray: Father, thank you for seeing me when no one else does. Thank you for caring for me when no one else cares. Thank you that I can call You Lord and Savior. Thank you that I am Your child. When Satan comes against me to try to destroy my relationship with You let me know You watch, You see, You know, and I am safe in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
