Day 55 – Plans

Proverbs 16:1 The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from JEHOVAH. 2 Every way of man is pure in his own eyes, but JEHOVAH weighs the spirits. 3 Commit your work to JEHOVAH, and your thoughts will be established.

• Theos – Supreme Divinity

• Judge

People like to prepare. They prepare for trips, parties, special events, marriage, people prepare for everything in their lives. They want their plans to be perfect.

As king, Solomon knew about preparation. It was part of his daily life. He knew that without JEHOVAH in his plans, they would come to nothing. However, when he commited his plans to JEHOVAH, Solomon knew everything would work according to His plans, not whatever he planned.

As Christians, you must seek Yeshuwa’s will in your plans. When your plans line up with His plans, everything will turn out exactly as He wills.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says JEHOVAH, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with your whole heart.

Before you made a single plan, Yeshuwa already had His plans for your life. Does it feel like you are butting heads against the plans you want in your life because nothing is going the way you expect? Or do you find your plans working out the way you want?

When you prepare your heart to seek Yeshuwa and His will for your life, and commit everything to His will, then He will establish His plans in your heart and your life will work with Him and not against Him.

Who rules your life? People want control over their lives. However, when you put control of your life in Yeshuwa’s hands, everything He planned for you will prosper. Commit your thoughts, your plans, your day to Him and watch Him work everything to your good.

Romans 8:28 We know that everything works together for good to those who love Theos, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Make His purpose your purpose today. Commit your plans to Him and watch Yeshuwa work everything out for His good in your life.

Psalm 37:3 Trust in JEHOVAH, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in JEHOVAH, And He will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to JEHOVAH, trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass. 6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. 7 Rest in JEHOVAH, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret—it only causes harm.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in JEHOVAH with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in everything acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

Let His plans be your plans and everything in your life will work for your good.

Let’s pray: Father, You know my heart and my plans. Make my heart and plans line up with Your will for my life as I commit everything to Your will and glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
