What is something others do that sparks your admiration?

People who spark my admiration are those who give of themselves for others. They’re selfless. It’s nothing for them to lend a helping hand to those in need. While people most often think only of themselves and what benefits they can derive from people, there are those who don’t count the cost. They give their time, money, and supplies when called on. They don’t hesitate.

Then there are the crafty people. Those who can turn a simple craft into a work of art. I have friends who knit and crochet. Their handmade items are awesome! What is even more wonderful is that those same people will make knitted and crochets items and give them freely to whoever wants or needs them. I’ve attended craft fairs and am amazed at what people do with stuff lying around or things they find when out walking.

Then there are those who craft with words. They can turn a few words into a thing of beauty on the mind. Images brought to life on paper with the stroke of a pen or keystroke. An airplane becomes a flying machine or a dragon. A brook bubbles and sings. Descriptive words can cause people to turn pages or listen intently to the speaker.

I’m a simple wordsmith who hopes to bring images to life in the mind of the reader.
