Good evening from a mild day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 36 F at 9:16 PM. It’s been in the high 40s today and will be warmer tomorrow and Monday. Did winter forget us in the Midwest?

Still there is always something to be thankful for, including mild weather. It’s been a good day. Let me tell you why I’m thankful.

I’m thankful I could spend some time with you today. Not as much as usual, but a little bit.

I’m thankful for the movie I watched today to help me with my story. It gives me an idea about how to proceed and keep it feasible, even for a fairytale.

I’m thankful for the work I did on Firestorm today. It’s coming along well. I’m almost through chapter 9.

I’m thankful for the small shopping I did with my neighbor today. There was a meat sale at Hy-Vee she wanted to take advantage of. I got a few things too, not much, but more than I expected. It made my wallet scream.

I’m thankful I texted my children again today and got replies back. I also texted a friend and invited her over for a pizza party tomorrow as I read to my friends the story I’ve been working on. It should be fun. It’s one reason why my wallet screamed at the store today.
